  2. Take care of your plants and fix up your rockets, if necessary.
  3. Prepare for the guest lecturer that is presenting TONIGHT at 4:30 PM! In task dashboard, press the + next to Guest Expert 1 and complete the Before the presentation questions located in the Preparing for the expert task.

Expert Talk: February 14th at 4:30 PM

Join NESSP on Zoom on February 14th at 4:30 PM to meet our first guest expert, Dr. Caitlin Ahrens!

Dr. Caitlin Ahrens, Planetary Scientist at NASA will talk to us about the exciting challenges that Artemis will face and how we can use what we learned from the Apollo missions. She will also talk about how rovers will be used alongside our astronauts and how NASA is preparing and testing methods to sample extremely cold ice before launch! Q&A will follow presentation!

This challenge is hosted by the Northwest Earth and Space Sciences Pathways, which is a partnership between Central Washington University and NASA. Their home page is located here.

Our mission is called Artemis ROADS as it is based off of the Artemis II Mission which will launch in November. Read more about it here!
